Jon Samuel has been an active multi-instumentalist since the age of 16. Samuel started to hone his skills and interests in music at all ages clubs in Halifax, such as Cafe Ole and The Pavillon. He’s been a key member of the Montreal based band “Wintersleep" since 2006, and has been touring the world with his friends ever since. He is currently finishing a new record to be released in 2025. 

Jon is also a talent DJ. As 'Century Samuel' his DJ sets will span his interests in 70s soul and funk, 80s new wave and 90s to present day indie rock and hip hop. His set is known to include artists ranging from The Meters, Talking Heads, Stereolab, to more present day favourites such as Total Control, Perfume Genius, Cate le Bon and Kendrick Lamar. There will be time for dancing and there will be time for chilling, with a little something for everyone. A true vibe for the audience.
